Sizzles
I had the pleasure of being at WSFL-TV for 11 years, which is a very long time to be anywhere in television. In that time we went through several ownerships, cross media ventures and rebrands. Here is that story.
2012 Sun Sentinel Sizzle
Tribune owned a newspaper and TV station in the South Florida market. They decided to consolidate the two business units to create more synergy and streamline workflow. I was tasked with editing and designing the sizzle piece to show investors.
2013 Sun Sentinel Sizzle
This presentation was shown to potential clients in 2013. I edited chose the music and designed the piece.
SFL-TV Sizzle
Tribune Broadcasting split from Tribune Publishing. So the station rebranded itself as the only local entertainment station in South Florida. We were known for our comedies. This piece was made to introduce the new SFL-TV to the world. I chose the music, chose the clips and concept and edited the spot.
2015 SFL-TV Sponsorship Sizzle
This piece was sent to advertisers to showcase how their brand could work with SFL-TV. Chose music, chose the clips and edited the video
2015 SFL-TV Network and Syndicated Show Sizzle
This sizzle piece highlighted our affiliation with The CW Network. I chose the music, chose the clips and edited the video
CW South Florida Model Affiliate
The CW Network was gaining traction, superhero's were the new thing. Our station rebranded and took ownership of the CW brand hence becoming The CW South Florida. I wrote, chose the music, chose the clips, graphic designed and edited the video
2017 CW South Florida Sizzle
The Superhero station was born. Superhero movies were in. 60% of The CW programming was superhero related. We took advantage of that with attending comic cons, movie premieres and watch parties. I wrote, chose music, chose the clips, graphic designed and edited the video
2018 CW South Florida Sizzle
The CW Network started diversifying and so did we, with morning news, newer syndicated content and more local programming. I wrote, chose music, chose clips graphic designed and edited video.
